Sunday May 4. 2008- Day 2

I helped Madi’s mummy wake her up again. Aunt Frani came in with Rif the cat, but Rif got scared from the sounds of the medical equipment and jumped out of her arms. That woke up Madi and got her really excited. She couldn’t wait to see Aunt Frani’s cats Rif and Raf. (It was too dark and too late last night to see them when we arrived.) Angie got Madi her treatment and did her whole morning drill as fast as she could. We went out on Aunt Frani’s deck to see the cats. They were scared so we went inside the kitchen to watch them. Madi and I laid down on the kitchen table and looked out the door to the deck. Here’s a picture of Rif in her cool cat house.

It was time to get on the road again or we might never get to disney. The van was loaded up once again and we were off to Florida. We made several stops to get gas for the van, snacks to eat and trips to the little girls room. There was a huge cow in the parking lot at one of the places we stopped at to get gas. I had to get out of the van to see just how big this cow was. While waiting for everyone, I got me a dairy queen sundae and Mister Misty drink and sat near the cow to take it all in. Woot- that was good!

Later that evening we stopped at McDonalds to get another yummy snack. 2 of the workers there wanted to take their picture with me. I told them all about where I live in VMK and my quest to see Walt Disney World in real.

I took a break from watching Disney movies and computer games to get in some interesting reading. It’s a LONG drive to Disney!

It was almost closing time in VMK when we pulled in to Windsor Hills/Pooh’s Dreamscape. Madi was soooo tired she didn’t want to stay up to dance. I couldn’t believe it! LOL!
We watched Hannah Montana on TV while everyone unpacked the van and Madi’s mummy tried to figure out what bedroom we were going to sleep in. It had to be just right for Madi and all her stuff. Of course we ended up in the Winnie the Pooh room. It was perfect!

All the medical equipment had to be set up again and Madi had to get her breathing treatment before we could finally go to sleep. I slept right next to Madi. I don’t think I moved all night.
